Puns

I think the oldest pun I know is a Trek one, it must be at least 40 years since I first heard this one in the playground.

"How many ears does Mr Spock have? Three. The left ear, the right ear and the final front ear"

And it never occurred to me that it being Captain Kirk would've made more sense.

Data is demonstrating a card trick on the bridge. Part of the trick is to have another person draw a card from the deck at random, so he approaches the Captain and says: "Picard."

Beverly Crusher's latest play, "Captain's Log", takes the form of a crew's personal diaries. The cast consisted of the titular captain and seven crew members.

Jake Sisko entitled his review of the performance, "'Captain's Log', Starred 8".

A little-known cafe at Star Fleet Command harkens back to a more gentile time; more civilized.
Picard went there, often.

One of the special rooms available to reserve features teas and coffees served traditionally.

Its name is “The Cup and Saucer Section”.

(at the risk of posting a TLDR setup to the pun);

Back before they were cadets, Nick Locarno, Wesley Crusher, Sito Jaxa, Jean Hajar and Joshua Albert - later to be known as "Nova Squadron" - all attended Zephram Cochrane High School.

Like other high schools, they had a prom.

In a foreshadowing of the scamps they were to become, they spiked the Prom Punch with a mixture of Lemonade and Romulan Ale.

Drunken Merriment and Hijinks ensued.

The ZC Nacelle (the moniker of the yearbook) later reported that the concoction was known to the students as...

...wait for it...

"Prom-onade"

Why did the TNG directors like working with John de Lancie?
>Because he always delivered his lines right on Q.

What would have happened if John de Lancie had shown up on the TNG set with a perm?
>He would have turned into curly Q.

What do you call it if Q is burned at the stake?
>BBQ.

You can tell that John de Lancie is popular with the Star Trek convention crowd. There is always a long line of fans waiting to meet him. So, if you go to a convention to meet John de Lancie, what should you do?
>Look for the queue.

After losing Data, if there had been a follow-up episode where Kivas Fajo, in revenge, had kidnapped Lwaxana and Deanna, to add to his collection of playthings, what would the episode have been called?
>The Most Trois.
