While the Punisher was probably his most famous character, it is hardly fair to reduce his legacy to that. ArrowVerse fans should know he co-created Commander Steel, Vixen, Vibe, Gipsy and Firestorm. He also co-created Power Girl, the Batman villain Killer Croc, and since DC-Marvel crossovers are back in a big way, let's remember Conway wrote the original Superman vs. the Amazing Spider-Man.
At Marvel, he also co-created Werewolf by Night, and he wrote the legendary Death of Gwen Stacy story.
With Roy Thomas, he also wrote the screenplay for the Ralph Bakshi/Frank Frazetta fantasy animated film Fire & Ice, as well as the original story for Conan the Destroyer (though both of them were so unsatisfied with the final result, they turned their original story into a graphic novel).
He wrote for TV cartoons, as well, namely Transformers, GI Joe: A Real American Hero, The Centurions, Dino Riders, My Little Pony, Dinosaucers,, Batman: The Animated Series and Spider-Man: The Animated Series.
And for live-action TV, he wrote episodes of Law & Order (and the Criminal Intent spin-off), Jake & the Fatman, Perry Mason, Matlock, Father Dowling Mysteries (which he also produced), Diagnosis: Murder, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, and The Huntress.
Just earlier this year, he was selected for inclusion in the Eisner Hall of Fame
So it is safe to say he was a creative powerhouse.
