Pug

Now what can beat a snuggly Pomeranian? :D

Hemorrhoids, a root canal, rush hour traffic, a busted sewer main...I could go on.

If I were to get a large dog someday though I'd get a Golden Retriever.

Goldens are great, my parents got one when I was a senior in HS who is now quite the senior citizen.

They are intelligent, energetic, loyal, and aim to please. You just have to be ready for the shedding.

I'm also not a fan of hunting dogs, by that I mean ones that actually kill the prey, not just retrieve it or flush it out. Terriers and hounds for example. Just seems to be a natural aggressive streak there.

I have two hunting dogs. On occasion, these two have taken down a random opposum, squirell, bird or something. No, I wasn't happy about it, but they were doing what comes instinctively to them.
HOwever, neither dog has an aggressive bone in their body. Sweetest, best natured dogs that GOd has ever put on the planet. Gentle as anything with my young children.

If you want to get an aggressive dog, just abuse and mistreat it. It doesn't matter what breed it is.

Before I'm attacked, no, I'm not condoning abusing dogs. I'm trying to make a point.

They're not ugly.

I do question their intelligence compared to other dogs, though. Here's mine:
