Proof that VOY is the best Trek evar!

I wouldn't put it past them.

Either a study of the fanbase in the 90s, or someone conning the magazine into paying for VIP passes to comicon.

I think Seven's addition to VOY is what put it over the top in this one. I'm almost all the way through season 5 now, and having watched Seven's interactions with everyone through the past nearly two seasons, I think she has been an excellent addition to the show. I swear, I think I laugh more at her reactions to the rest of the crew than I do the actual jokes from the show. Plus, her and Janeway butting heads makes for interesting TV!
There were a few interactions with Tuvok that seriously cracked me up--that time they were in the--I think Delta Flyer?--finding out that neither of them likes the rest of the crew's need for small talk.

I liked in DS9 when Kira and Dax would talk about Dax's ex-boyfriend with the transparent skull. "What did she see in him?" "His brains, for one thing".

I was surprised at how well Trek did overall- Voyager obviously hauling up the ratings there.

Enterprise's low scoring is a travesty, and another reminder of why I disliked the show so much.

If you look at the data, Enterprise did even worse and still worse over time.

Tng was the only show that went up consistently for a few months.

Ordinary people were just bored of the same old shit.

Tuvok could say more with that one raised eyebrow, than most actors could say with a well written script.

Imagine my delight when I found out she could sing! :adore:

I love the episode where she and the Doctor sing You are my Sunshine.

That episode melted my heart. Also, that lovely duet between Bob Picardo and Jeri Ryan was just brilliant.

Me too! I think it was the most heart-warming scene in the entire series for me. Both characters seemed more human than ever, or since. I would have been happy if they ended the series right there. LOL.

Actually I now realize it was season 4 hair that was my favorite so my amazing coincidence is cancelled.

And yeah Tim Russ is great, Tuvok is so dry and understated. And I like that he is not angsty, he's a well adjusted Vulcan with a family and good relationships among the crew.

I wouldn't have been happy, I still have a season and a half, and I can already tell I'm going to be annoyed when it's all done! :p ;)

That's what I find most appealing about him. He really is just a good guy all around. I enjoyed the episode where we got to delve into his childhood, too. That was fascinating.

Just got back from the used video store. Among other things, got VOY Season 4, already have 1 and 7. Other seasons available were 2 and 3, but I wanted more Seven. So I have "Living Witness" now and can rerun the adventures of Warship Voyager as much as I want. I think Tim directed it too. Others I'm remembering but not seen in over 15 years: As teacake says, it's like brand new Trek!

"Revulsion", with my favorite Leland Orser appearance. Also, "Take off your clothes."
"Mortal Coil", perhaps Ethan Phillips' finest moment.
"The Killing Game", because who doesn't love aliens in Nazi uniforms?
"Hope and Fear", interesting idea with the camouflaged ship, and Ray Wise.
"Demon", maybe now I can figure out "Course: Oblivion".

I already have 4 of the season's episodes on Fan Collectives.

Most importantly, I get to see Seven in the silver catsuit again, my favorite for how it enhanced her look.

It's actually a used record store chain here in town, but they have a large (several aisles worth) section of used dvd's. I use "record" to stand in for "music" because I've not seen instruments for sale there.

They're inside what was originally built as a CVS drugstore, but they left after less than 2 years after the roads were torn up while the lightrail was being put in. The building sat empty for several years until about 2 or 3 years ago.

I just saw the Doctor ride up on a bicycle, wearing a priest's robe. My day is made.
