Threads like this always remind me of a Sean Connery story. When he first moved into films in the '50s, his agent at the time gave him what he thought was the best piece of advice he ever got over the course of his career: get a really, really good hairpiece. For Connery and Shatner, this has been a worthwhile($$$) investment (although I think some of Connery's best performances were without the rug)
