Spoilers Prodigy ship revealed

Hmm. What is your problem, then? The concept of inanimate objects as characters doesn't seem to bother most moviegoers or TV audiences: R2D2 does just fine without dialogue or even the ability to mime much, and a bit of lichen on a rock can be a character by doing nothing but being discussed a lot. What, specifically, would a starship need in order to be a character like Artoo?

Spock does. The man never even mentions Sarek was his father or that he has a half-brother and adoptive human sister! :p

well, people does that…None of my closest friends knew anything about a major family thing I have until it came out randomly almost ten years after making their acquaintance, simply because there are some things one might prefer to keep private.
