Problem with running Klingon Academy!

Hi all, this problem is killin’ me! Klingon Academy has run on my PC many many times but several months ago I ran into a problem I can’t fix. I’ve tried several reinstalls of the game I even got the game on one single DVD disc. No matter what I do I get this error message:

Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application

It doesn’t matter which 6 of the original discs I put in or the DVD version. I’m not listing my specs here because I KNOW my machine will play this game, it has hundreds of times! Someone please please help me! This is the only Star Trek game that I still enjoy playing cause I have loads of MODS. I’m actually on my knees begging! HELP!

Try disabling your fast user switching.

Click on your account picture in the START Menu

>> Change the way users log on and off
>> Turn off Fast User switching

it may be the discs..


reinstall the game from ISO of the CDs or DVD..

Well, I managed to get it working... though I don't know how... I just reinstalled it and added the patch (like I do every time) and it worked... Chalk it up to the weird mysterious things computers do. Thanks guys.
