It looks like they're trying to distance Universe from all of the previously established aliens of the franchise, which includes Teal'c. I doubt we'll see him on the show this year.

That trailer is a hell of a lot more interesting than the first 10 episodes combined were.

Meanwhile, I noticed new footage of a Daedalus class ship (probably the Hammond) and I thought I saw F-302s (at 1:11). So I'm guessing there's going to be some action in the Milky Way as well.

And the aliens look kind of cool, though somewhat generic.

Ever see the trailers CBS released to promo Flashpoint. I think they used every second from each episode that a cop was running or aiming his weapon in those trailers.

I say don't expect nothing in the second half, maybe next year after they reboot the series.

This is what I'm afraid of. At the very least it's been more entertaining than Atlantis, so I'll tune in to watch. Time will tell if I enjoy it enough to stick around for good though
