Preliminary Ideas For New Trek Series

A "flecture" refers to a subspace anomaly so massively disruptive, that the original thread subject is wiped from the minds of all involved, creating a virtually perfect state of transtopiclivity. :p

And...

It is also just happens to be the name of the next upcoming new Trek series: Flecture: The Terminal Frontier!

2666. Everyone has ceased to explore anything!:wtf: Everybody now enjoys living in a fun, safe, video-game-like world. Then, one day, an enormous "flecture" occurs, and they are suddenly faced with going out into the real Universe in a confused state of transtopiclivicy, where Star Ships are a long forgotten technology.

HOWEVER, there is an exception! One single, highly mysterious, fleet of black-painted ships have been preserved - by - The Space Amish! - Who still insist on doing things the hard way. The series focuses on the characters struggles to start experiencing the Universe, all over again.:techman:

( From the same people who brought you: Vulcan Spa-a-a-a-ce! Pi-i-i-i-rates! )

omg did you watch the Starlost before you wrote this?

No. I am very probably a no-touch telepath and seer of the -
Spa-a-a-a-ce! Am-i-s-h! ;)
We are an exceptionally small (go figure:confused:) and low-key, but cohesive little group. :)

The best lie - is usually "the truth".

Star Trekkers: The Facetious Frontier

A group of highly opinionated Star Trekkers are suddenly trusted into the 23rd century, where they come face-to-face with the very future, that they helped create! In fact, every single thing they had ever argued the plausibility of, has become corporal, tangible and entirly substantial, based on:

The Roddenberry Laws Of Imaginamics

(...which was not yet entirly scientifically proven, in their times)

Watch, as they narrowly escape: being captured by the Klingon Empire (who hurriedly release them, after repeated, embarrassing questions about "forehead ridges"), exsaltguination by a salt vampire (thwarted by one fan's No Salt, the sodium-free salt alternative, diet), and a nearly disastrous infestation of Tribbles (good thing someone knew how to say a few Klingon phrases, however badly, to send the fuzzballs scurrying).

As their adventures unfold, they become less, and less disinclined to disbelieve that,
Everything that you can possibly think of, is already set in the process of ... "becoming".

Staring the former cast of The Big Bang Theory. And introducing Yalana Cotu, as the Amish Star Ship Captain, "Yalana Cotu".

;)

Often, the truth is best presented as an almost convincing fantasy.
