Prayers Please

Prayers, good thoughts, best wishes, positive vibes, whatever is good and right, please send them my family's way. My grandmother is dying, the last of two that I have had the good fortune of knowing. She has slowly wasted away over the past week, has refused life support and has had kidney failure. It's only a matter of time that she will be gone if she doesn't improve. Her 80th birthday is next month, and I would surely like to see her make it.

My dad is on the verge of tears. He told his mom that he loved her, and she wasn't able to say it back to him out loud over the phone. She's a couple hundred miles away and he's going to go visit her, so please, your prayers for me, my dad and mom, and my grandmother.

My aunt just called and said my grandmother's having delusions from lack of oxygen. My dad won't be able to leave down there until tomorrow because of work he has to finish up. I know at this point it seems like all hope is lost, but I want to hold on and just keep believing, to just keep sending that positive prayer and strong optimism to her bedside.

Once more, thank you all very much for your prayers. At the moment, we're still waiting for any news. My mom has already started crying because it reminds her of her own mother's death a few years ago. It happened in much the same way, so this is like reliving those terrible days 4 years ago.
