Though I still think my advice isn't perfect - either that pr I should start listening to myself more often. Maybe I'd have an easier life

Hands out a couple of giant, juicy, bacon butty's to a couple of people with fabulous taste in British comedy. 
That show was my first exposure to British television (I think it's still on PBS).

I would say M'Sharak who aided and guided me when I first joined. He also gave me a warning...which I loved because every now and again I need to be put in my place. Maybe CoolEddie too...good lord this is just going to add more fodder for his ego expansion...but there I said it. There may be some others too.
Yeah, I'd watch it fairly regularly too (although, to be fair, they aired on Saturday nights when, as a kid, there wasn't much on).
