Well, I actually saw Postal last summer, at FrightFest in London, and I'm a little surprised that it's only opening in four theatres.
Maybe it was the friendly and forgiving festival atmosphere, but I didn't think it was an awful film. By which I mean, it wasn't great, or even particularly good: just not awful. Some of it--not most of it, but some of it--was actually funny.
The major studios take regular dumps in theatres across the country: in fact, they distribute manure like Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo so widely, you'd think they were trying to fertilize the nation's lawns. So I don't understand why distributors would balk at Postal.
I'm sure it's real, all of his crazy rants are similar to that.Ah, and that rant is real, is it? It can be authenticated?
I just found a clip online and it's not as bad as I envisioned. I'm not a real Indy fan and was looking for something to do this weekend, but given the terrible release of this film, I probably still won't see it.

^That's a lot of signatures!
^ Boll's also claimed that directors like Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg are making fake accounts so they can keep signing the petition. Because, you know, they're just so fearful of his competition.
If no one likes him, why is there a thread here about him?
Its so bad and offending they aren't even sitting through it for free!Approximately 200 theatergoers walked out of a free Postal screening in New Jersey last Friday. While Hoboken Mayor David Roberts refused to attend the screening, he stated that he did not like the film's 9/11-style attack gag and added that it was "too soon to mock a plane going into the World Trade Center."
