Thanks SolarisOne! Like I said in my first post - it has been many, many, many years
Moving this to Fan Art.
Thank you Count Zero!
Thank you captain
Wow... If I were to post all the Trek pics I've collected since 2002, I would be perma-banned for spamming!
Here are a few of the more notable ones, all by me:
Wow ! Most impressive collection of images!!! Bravissimo!!!
Thanks very much!
My Kitbash named USS LEXINGTON heavy before Constitution class
look for Kaiser Shipyards Over Risa on Facebook or kaisernathan1701 on Deviant Art for mine
Cool! I will, love the name of the shipyard. My Dad served on a Fletcher class in WWII.
Thanks ^_^ Henry Kaiser who had the real Kaiser Shipyards according to my dad was a 6th cousin or some such to me.
My dad was Navy too Served on 3 ships and some land bases on both US coasts from 78-98
Wow that is a lot of sea duty! My Dad was first on USS Hydrographer, converted CGS vessel. The oil tanker, near Casa Blanca, blew up before he reported to it!
Grace and Peace!
Some ship trivia—there was a “High Flyer” at both the Halifax and Texas City ship explosion disasters. There was a small ship explosion recently.
I.looked those two incidents up, most distressing! The Japanese Imperial Navy had a huge carrier made from a Yamato class battleship hull that exploded after a fire got out of control bellow the flight deck. Somehow the Ross stayed together after the two mines at Leyte Gulf!
