Post Your Dreams Thread

I dreamed last night that I broke the tooth between my right front tooth and my canine. It broke in 4 pieces but didn't hurt.

Last night I had a dream that I was at work. And since my work requires a lot of reading, it was a frustrating dream because I couldn't do my work and I woke up tired.

It's kind of vague but someone was locked up in a van and I had to get the person out but had to go away for some reason, and then when I came back the area where they were had flooded and the person had drowned. And I started crying in the dream, and it turns out, in real life. But thankfully that went away quickly.

Had a dream that I was working retail and had to lock the front door for closing. And the angry entitled people that thought they should be let in was maddening. It even turned violent.

I dreamed that I was at a fabric store but couldn't decide on any fabric so I decided to add to my large (and growing) scissor collection. I saw a pair that I wanted but the store owner said they were set aside for another customer.

I had a dream last night that when I woke up, a bunch of my friends had come into my house without y permission for some purpose I forget but I was somehow okay with it. Then they discovered a hidden bedroom I knew nothing about that the previous owners left some stuff behind.

I was actually kinda bummed when I woke up and it wasn’t real.

In my latest dream I, uh, interacted closely with a number of attractive lady celebrities.
I won't go into detail here, though. :alienblush:

Ok so not often, but every once in a while I have a recurring dream of being in a house that is overflowing with stuff, like a hoarder's house, (Also not my house) but usually it's already bagged up, like I'm in the process of getting rid of it all, & that's usually what I'm thinking about in the dream.... planning how to empty the place, but I can barely open any door, or get through any room :vulcan:

Last night I dreamed I worked at a store like Ollie's or Big Lots and the merchandise was all dusty and jumbled on the shelves. I was trying to look busy brushing the dust off something that looked like a windshield. Then my coworkers decided to go out to lunch and I got separated from them and didn't make it to lunch. I woke up and was very hungry.

i dreamed last night that my husband was in bed with the covers up to his chin and we were chatting and he was smiling until I realized that he couldn't be here and then he disappeared. I looked out the patio door and saw my ginger cat playing with a monkey, the way that cats do (but not one who has been dead for many years - kind of a theme in this dream). The monkey ran up to the door but I told him that I didn't let flea riddled strange monkeys in my house. (sorry, Jayson)

What gets me are how familiar dream locations can be…even though they don’t exist…

Who says they don't? Maybe in dreams you visit alternate versions of yourself in those places while you sleep.

OK last night I had a falling dream only I fell gently off a small walkway into water then this mask came up around my face from a collar I was wearing and I fell and kept falling, then more falling and I finally hit what I thought was the bottom of the water and onto this metal panel that pulled me forwards through a door and then all the water drained out. The mask I was wearing slid back into the collar and these huge doors opened up and music was playing and there were lots of tables everywhere with seats and lights on the tables. A voice said "come in come in you are welcome here" and it called me by name. I was ushered to one of a tables and a menu was there and that's where it ended.

I had a dream I was watching season 5 of The Good Place where for some reason the characters were brought back from
nonexistence.
And the last episode ended with a 4th wall breaking scene of the actors getting together, deciding another season added nothing and was completely unnecessary and bailing.

It's funny you say that I remember an old episode of Moonlighting where they had a chase scene that literally ran out of the studio they were filming in around trailers and such and they just kept filming. It was the most fun and bizarre thing I had ever seen, and I think even Xena did that.

How many shows would be that game to just do that and not worry about keeping the fictional world intact?

I think my conscious brain just thought "Wait, why would they ever do another season of the Good Place, it ended so perfectly?" And the actors in my dream immediately adjusted to adopt my point of view.

Had a dream where it was Kids Week on Jeopardy and the kid who was clearly an idiot won because he wrote multiple answers down for Final Jeopardy and since one was correct they gave it to him, and the girl that should've won lost because she bet way more than she needed to and got the answer wrong.
