I had one of those "late to work, late to school" dreams last night.
I looked at my Samsung watch, which for some reason appeared very dark, and I couldn't see the time. When I checked the wall clock, it was 9:30 a.m., and I was supposed to get up at 6:30. Should I call my boss and let him know I was coming in late, or just call in sick? It turned out I was only dreaming, so I got ready for work.
My workplace looked like a big industrial building with multi-level and outside parking. I noticed in my hurry, I had only put on my white V-neck undershirt and so I had to go back to my car to get a dress shirt or something with a collar.
But then I realized I had a baby girl with me, and I needed to feed her or put her to sleep. As I anxiously thought about getting late for "class," a nice young lady and her mom offered refuge to their "dorm room" to look after the baby while I was away. I told them the baby was by niece, and although she looked 18 months, she was born in 2021 and was my late sister's daughter. I was grateful for the kindness of strangers.
