Post your Desktop - Winter 08-09

Put this one up last night.

Gorgeous!!! A 1962 Starfire... Love it. I always wanted one in green. (I am obsessed with old cars.)

Do you have pictures? I'm curious what stuffed germs look like.

I don't have pictures of my own germs (now that's a line to be taken out of context!) but they were all bought from this site: Giant Microbes. I've been collecting them for ages, from way back when the company only made six germs. Swine flu is next on the shopping list :)

That is so cool!

Yeah, it's awesome. What a crazy, yet cute idea. I'm surprised it's viable, though. Seems we're not the only freaks out there. ;)

Desktops?

That's mine.

Educational too :)

That's a heck of a conversation to overhear:

Person A: "So which germ did you end up getting?"
Person B: "Oh, I got SARS."
Person A: "When did you get it?"
Person B: "Oh, a week ago, when we were visiting my Uncle's cottage in Vancouver."
Person A: "Fun, isn't it?"
Person B: "Oh, it's the greatest. I hope I can get Swine Flu this week, too."

J.

That's what conversations between me and my sister are like! I hope no-one's listening in, we'll be on a government terrorist watch-list somewhere.

I love those things! I keep checking at Newbury Comics to see if they have a specific one but they never have it in stock... I want AIDS... :shifty:

Don't worry, you'll only be on the terrorist watch list if you keep asking about Anthrax. :rommie:

The AIDS one is cute - it's wearing its own red ribbon. The flesh-eating disease one has a knife and fork!

^ They are adorable. I personally like the soap dispenser! That rocks.

I am not sure about the bed bug. Even looking at that cute plush one makes my skin crawl. Uuuuggghhh. :(

At one time, long ago, I owned a Ninety-Eight of that same vintage.

A true pimp ride, I would expect nothing less from you.
It really was a sweet ride and had power everything, but with the 394 it got about 9 miles to the gallon, had a tendency to overheat on longer trips and turned out to have some rather unfortunate front-end problems.

All that matters is that it turned the girls' heads
