I think this kind of image takes a specific type of program but I do not remember what that program is? - for these kinds of three d renders although I could probably tweak bryce or blender and get this image but I know that there is an easier way about it.

I hate the look of JJ's Enterprise so I'm trying to desensitise myself to it so that I can enjoy the film. I'm hoping that by seeing it from an angle which hides the hideous nacelles, and associating it with the cool looking Kelvin, that my dislike will turn into tolerance.

Indeed, a Shackleton AEW Mk.2. I think it's a damn fine looking airframe! Last week it was 3 Polish Air Force Su-22M-4 in formation....
