Post Your Christmas Decorations

Detail of the right side of the platform (the country)

Is that an airplane hangar I see?
With airplanes, looks like.

Here's my tree:

I have other decorations up, but they're hard to get a picture of because they're scattered about the house....

I like this.
I like it, too. Is that some sort of yucca plant?

I don't usually do the decorating at my house for christmas but my younger sister was excited about doing it and wanted me to help her. We had to decorate it twice because nobody checked if the first set of lights worked...

Nice. :)

Here's ours, complete with our pet Tribble. She is hanging out there, under it, most of the time, now. Behind the presents. :)

Re: The 2009 Christmas Tree thread...

I haven't put up a tree yet. Not sure I will this year, but I thought that last year too and then suddenly the festive spirit seized me. So maybe I will at some point! :D

Re: The 2009 Christmas Tree thread...

My tree has solved the mystery of what to do with the spare space in my now tidy living room. Right now, it's decorated with the TV aerial.

Re: The 2009 Christmas Tree thread...

I'll be getting mine sometime this week so I'll put up a picture of me and the tree when I put it up.

Re: The 2009 Christmas Tree thread...

I'm going to hang this one on the existing Holiday Decorations thread.

Hang on to your tinsel

I have mine up but I keep forgetting to break out the camera while I have decent light. Maybe tomorrow... if I remember! :rommie:

But everyone's looks great! I love decorations. :D

They're all beautiful...I think my current favorite belongs to Rincewiend...I love a tree all done up in red...

forgot to say...I love your little gray tribble...

Santa Smurf; I can't find a picture of your tree...

I don't know if I will put up my tree this year.

It was really nice last year, but wow, is it alot of work. Plus, I have a new puppy this year, and I'm sorta afraid she will destroy any low-hanging ornaments...in addition to possibly really injuring herself in the process. I'm not so sure she has the whole food/not food issue down pat yet. Nor the toy/not toy issue either, for that matter. :p

And a tree kinda looks dumb with the bottom foot or so not decorated.

Still, alot of really nice trees in this thread. Well done, everyone! :)

I've had the same problem the last few years with young master trampledamage, but he's the ripe old age of nearly three now so I think a Christmas tree will survive. Unless he decides to climb it...

You could always do what I used to do...make felt ornaments for the bottom of the tree...the puppy won't break them, the babies won't eat them (I'm not sure of that, though, I've never had kids; maybe they WILL eat them) :guffaw:

When it comes to decorations, I'm generally pretty spartan. I leave the prettiness to the garland and the lights. Anyhoo, our Christmas tree:
