Glasses with a (working) lotos surface would be an overdue invention. I use contact lenses when I have to work outdoors on very rainy days but they make my eyes tired.

I know when it happened. 1996! Your favorite color was still pink when we were married. After a year or so you switched to yellow, then blue, then I don't know what.

I can't say too much. My favorite color is theoretically purple and has been since 1990 or so. But I no longer like wearing it and don't buy too many purple non-clothing items either. The only way it's functionally still my favorite color is I still like ballpoints that write in purple ink.

In the meantime, anytime I buy camping, hiking or biking gear, it has to be either green or black.

And what color do I most typically wear day-to-day? Black.

So what's MY favorite color?

I think it happens to most people. We change both on teh outside and the inside and our preferences shift. My aunt used to stand in front of the mirror with a dozen frocks asking "what suits me today?" And I loathed tomatos when I was a kid but now like them enough to breed them
My fav. colour used to be midnight blue but in recent years I've discovered orange tones suit me. Maybe it's because my hair is turning from chestnut to mouse grey.
