Post a Random Fact About Yourself

Are you talking about nu-Kirk?
Take your pick.

I've never been in a tanning booth and never will. These things give skin cancer.

While I do totally agree with you, it’s also reasonable to point out: so does the sun.

This.

I have two color settings: sickly pale or second-degree burn.

Same. Until I discovered the magic of SPF 60*. Now I just mostly stay my usual shade of translucent.

* Well, that and avoiding the outdoors as much as possible.

I use a new towel every day. I mean a freshly laundered towel every day. It’s one of those idiosyncrasies, I like a clean, fresh towel after showering. I have several of the same towels, I have a separate hamper for them. I wash and fold them myself, then put them away in the linen closet by the shower. I could probably go two weeks or more without using the same towel and not doing laundry but I never let it go that long.

I have several of these odd little quirks.

I do the same thing. I hate reusing towels.

If you give me a date, any date, I can tell you what day of the week it was/will be after about five seconds... I acquired that skill as a small child and never lost it since. Truth be told I test myself a few times, once in a while to make sure that I don't lose it. The same thing with the Rubik's cubes, I learned how to resolve them decades ago (for the first ones) and once in a while, I do them a few times to make sure that I don't forget. I am speaking of the cubes 3,4,5,6,7 (I stopped there, even though the method could likely be used to solve all of them). I hear there are cubes up to 13 and even beyond!!

^apparently you took butter-fly a little too literally :D

When I was a kid, I had only adults as company and out of pure boredom taught myself how to read at the age of 3. Ever since nothing printed was safe from me. A book is a bit like a different universe to which you can retreat when this one is getting too stressful.
