(POSSIBLE STORY IDEAS WITHIN) Who's/what's (maybe) related?

@Defcon: The reason we're talking about this in the Lit forum is because novels are the only place where we'll ever see any of these ideas play out.

Official Author's can't read or use it, so where is the purpose? Put it in fan fiction, where the authors can run with the ideas.

My thought was that it would expand out beyond TV characters into the lit-world. This forum isn't so busy that a thread like this is going to disturb anything. Ignore it, if it isn't your cup of tea.

We have to agree to disagree here, TrekLit shouldn't become the save haven for people whose nonsense threads are not seen favorably elsewhere only because you feel TrekLit isn't busy enough and they add a nonsensical "perhaps for lit purposes" at the end of their post. But since that is your verdict I will heed your advice and just ignore this thread.

I don't get how this would "expand out beyond TV characters into the lit-world". I doubt that any characters are described closely enought to make assumptions about them being related to characters played by actors who resemble that description. Well, except Robin Lefler.

I didn't say I wanted it here because Trek Lit isn't busy enough, I said it wasn't going to disturb anything by having it here.


Given how much people like drawing connections within the Trek world, I thought it worth keeping in case it expanded out beyond purely physical resemblances to discussions of personality. I have nothing invested either way though, if it doesn't then the thread will lie idle and die a natural death.
