Possibilities Lower Decks Live Action version?

Do you think that a live action version of LDS will pop up in the future?

When I see the cast being interviewed and interacting on "The Ready Room", they do seem like they could pull off live-action versions very easily. Just give Jack Quaid some purple hair and he's done.

It would be kinda neat, but might be weird if they didn't use the same voice actors, which would only work if the voice actors actually look like the characters.

They don't?

Somewhere a fan is photoshopping fur onto a picture of Vigman.

I remember a 1978-ish interview with Gene Roddenberry in which he remembered suggesting to Majel Barrett that she could do double duty as Dr Chapel and a live-action M'Ress in ST-TMP, and she was unimpressed.

I would watch that. But I think not as a full lenght episode, maybe a Short Trek. And I believe someone had something like that in mind, because the actors of the Lower Deckers resemble their characters alot.

Repeating what I said in the episode 4 thread...

If they do, the production needs to hire the team who created the Sisters of Plenitude makeup for the Doctor Who episodes New Earth and Gridlock to depict Dr. T'ana.

Novice Hame & Sisters of Plenitude

Seldom do feline makeup designs have "fur" punched into the appliances, even for big budget theatrical movies. But they did for Doctor Who, a TV series!
