Also, poor Angelique Pettyjohn did do hardcore adult films. When the convention circuit provided her with a better option, she ditched the adult world. She died of cervical cancer in '92.

The story has been told at many conventions by Richard Arnold, and other production staff. Like him or hate him, RA was working on site during the production of ST VI and was still telling the anecdote years later. One would think, it it weren't true, that Kim Cattrall or Leonard Nimoy would have lodged a... complaint. If you want a first-hand report, you'd have to ask Kim, Leonard or Kim's photographer.

No, she didn't use a stand-in, that was definitely her. The movie did totally suck though. It would actually make good fodder for MST3K because it tries to be like some kind of crime noir film or something and fails completely at it.

I seem to remember when I was a kid, a friend of mine had a photo of Leonard Nimoy standing up in a tin bath with nothing on. I think it was from the movie Catlow. She had pinned it on her wall, and when she got home from schol that day, one of her parents had cut the bottom half of the photo off!
