This isn't sf/f, but I only just got around to seeing Witness for the Prosecution - very good movie!
I liked Tyrone Power Jr's performance a lot, although he was too old for the role, and certainly not convincing as British (they should have just changed the character to be American, that doesn't really matter in the story). From his first scenes, he has just a bit too-edgy mannerisms that made me wonder, am I seeing an innocent man who is a bit freaked out by the situation, or a guilty man who isn't doing a perfect acting job?
Too bad about Power, he was finally getting solid roles like this one beyond the swashbuckling handsome young romantic type, but he died just a year after this movie came out.
And Marlene Dietrich's performance is great, although how great is something you won't appreciate till the end of the movie.

I honestly thought the woman in the bar that Deitrich was playing was actually a guy in drag! Sorry about that, Marlene.
Looked a lot like Andy Sirkis, I thought.
