Pople do stupid things

I'll undoubtedly be asked this question sometime in the next couple of days:

:customer comes up to me with a 25LB turkey: "If I put this in my fridge will it be thawed by Thursday?"

That question will be asked right up until Wednesday.

I've been asked if we had any fresh turkey's left on Thanksgiving day. And the customer was shocked when I told them we were sold out.

I've dealt with that too. And I just look at them like

Another thing: We're running a special. You buy a whole boneless ham at $2.99/lb and you get a free Paticular Brand Turkey 10-12 lbs for free.

Pretty good deal, right? Well we ran out of the free turkeys. Infact every store in the chain ran out. Infact the WAREHOUSE ran out. So all are subsitituing another brand of turkey.

You'd think we subsituted a turkey-shaped loaf of dogshit. And the entitlism of people in this is unbelievable. Some of the subsituted turkeys are over 12lbs. People think they're entitlted to getting the whole thing for free. Not how it works. The ad only entitles you to a free 12lb turkey. You pay for the rest. The fact that it's a different brand of turkey is meaningless.

God, people. It's a freaking turkey. I gaurntee you won't tast the difference between this brand, the brand advertised and the store brand.

The Stupid things people do that drive me shall we say crazy!!!!!!!!!

People who don't use their turn siginals or lights I mean what is wrong with freakin' people?! If your gonna turn please let us all know before your stupidity kills someone! And if its dark please for the love of all humanity turn those lights on! But kindly don't blind us either!

People driving too slow or too fast again what is up people?

People smoking in those places that CLEARLY say NO SMOKING! Hey people don't you realize some of us are alleric to that stuff?! Also what about people with asthma I mean have you no place at your home to smoke? I for one do not want to be around it!

People who make fun of others because of some kind of diffrences. I for one am fed up with the crap people say about me and other handicapped people as well. Yes we are not like you but for people to ridicule, mock, tease, put us down, abuse us, tell us we can't do anything, we're not good enough and physically man handle us and the rest of the crap people pull on us makes me so sick inside! What if we did the same to you?

When parents and others adults don't believe in you or when they blame you instead of helping you out with problems

When people say to GET OVER IT when you are hurting something awful about things that have happened

Obamacare need I say more?!

I didn't even look at the dates of those posts but I shoulda known something was up when I actually saw posts by IceHoneyRose. Now there's a blast from the distant past.

That being said: I see reminders of this, every day at work. There's the "DO YOU WORK HERE?" of course (I get at least one of those every day). And then there's the constant stream of those looking for the Starbucks in our store. It's right under the GIANT FUCKING STARBUCKS SIGN, people!

(On a similar note, there is absolutely no excuse why people can't find our Customer Service department. Not only is there a similarly GIANT FUCKING SIGN depicting where it is, but it's also right near the damn entrance!)
