When I watched American Wedding, I had a gag reflex for the Stifler dog poop scene. That's about all I have to contribute.

I was under the impression that bidets ARE fairly popular in Europe -- at least way more so than in the United States.

Bidets, as stand alone units beside the toilet, yes, but not the super duper Japanese toilets that you poop in and then use to get cleaned up all in one.

They are only popular in certain countries. I've seen them in France, Spain and Italy. But I don't think they are very popular in the Northern countries. You don't see them in Holland, Belgium or the UK for example.
