It seems like they didn't really have any arcs for any of the characters

It would have helped if they had developed it,so they could better use them.

I mentioned this before, but the way Ford was portrayed in the pilot, such as nonchalantly diving into the gate, made me think he;s had some experience in the Stargate program. It would have been interesting to see him, with that experience, still have to follow orders from a totally non-Stargate experienced Colonel (Sheppard). We could have seen how Ford could develop as a leader, but also as a soldier & teammate.

Teyla should have been though out more.

Atlantis was pretty bad these season, so i wasnt too hurt it got canceled. What i wanted was the franchise to rest for a few years and maybe to either a reboot or do SGU but not have the winny kids, have adult SG members out exploring and make it ala Farscape with the weird aliens.

Atlantis should of been left to have one more season to wrap up as much as possible and set up SG-U imo.
