Poll: Which doctor would you want to work on you?

Which doctor would you want to work on you?

^I don't know, it might not be worth it. I doubt the leading vote will go to anyone other than Pulaski.

Oo ee, oo aa aa, ting tang, walla walla bing bang.

Oh sorry, that would be "Witch doctor would want to work on you".

^Now that's all I'm going to think about when entering this thread.

I don't know why I assumed Crusher would keep up with the rest in this thread.

I'm tempted to make a 'Which doctor would you want to work on you: Second String' thread. Chapel, Ogawa, Pulaski, Kes, and Tom are all I can think of. Who else could fit?
Jake was kinda Bashir's assistant a couple episodes.

I am going to do it anyway (me and polls) so people can vent their Pulaski appreciation. Any more secondary doctors or nurses I missed?

My choice would be among Pulaski, Bashir, Crusher and The Doc because they all represent 24 century medicine up to date. Bones may be still alive at the time but let’s face it, he can be at you bedside today and in his grave the next!

Based on the DS9 series and the most recent Star Trek book The Fall : Ceremony of Losses, I would pick Bashir over Crusher and Pulaski because you’ll know Bashir will do, go and give EVERYTHING to find a cure for you.

I would eliminate The Doc because I would like a doctor who not only understands my illness but also what I’m going through as a human being. But if Bones were to die that day he may be the only doctor on call because every doctor on the galaxy would probably attend McCoy’s funeral!!

About to make the 'Which doctor would you want to work on you - Part 2: Second String' thread. The contestants:

Chapel
Ogawa
Pulaski
Kes
Tom
Jake
An EMH (Not Voyagers)
An EMH Mark II

Any more secondary doctors or nurses I missed?

I feel like I'm missing a DS9 or Enterprise nurse. Also does Chekov count?

I'm amazed (and a little disturbed) that the hologram gets so many votes. It's a hologram. Knowledge isn't worth a damn without human instinct and judgment.

The EMH came up with more treatments on the fly to save lives than basically any of the other Trek doctors. So I'd say the instinct and judgment is there, human or not.

^Except when he's put in Seven's body.

Crusher has the best bedside manner imo. They're all far better than any doctor I've ever seen in real life, so their skill levels should be close enough for my needs.
Now, Julian is the one I crush hardest on, and McCoy would make the best husband. Phlox would want to cure me by sticking alien worms up my butt or something, so no thanks.
Beverly would make me feel most comfortable and at ease.

Bashir. The only medical officer I ever saw on Trek who refused to do that ridiculous "wake him up" business.

Dr. Pulaski should have been listed on this poll. She is NOT 2nd string by any means. Muldaur's character was on for a full season, therefore she is not a "guest doctor" either.

Obviously, Dr. Pulaski gets my vote as the doctor I would most want to work on me.

^I couldn't blame him for it anyway, it could of been worse. Data's first day with emotions got Geordi kidnapped which got the ship destroyed.

That was his -second- day. His first day ended up with Geordi kidnapped and experimented on. ;)
