I remember watching the nuBSG mini-series and there was a scene that was supposed to be an intense, confidential, emotional scene between Apollo and the woman who would become president. The camera was bobbing up and down, zooming in and out, looking in their ears and up their noses. All I could do was wonder why they invited a stoned cameraman in to tape their conversation.

Well, you're right about that. Parts of Phantom Menace had a nice Golden Age look to it.
