Poll: Best Bond Flim

On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Best plot, great score, best Bond girl, and that girl is played by Diana Rigg. Had Connery been involved - and I speak as a dyed-in-the-wool fan of Connery's Bond - it would have been a much poorer movie. As it is, it's easily the best of the lot IMO.

Having said that, Goldfinger and From Russia With Love aren't bad, either.

Since there are so many, I have one favorite for each actor. They are:

Connery: Thunderball
Lazenby: On Her Majesty's Secret Service (yeah, only choice)
Moore: Moonraker
Dalton: The Living Daylights
Brosnan: The World is Not Enough
Craig: Casino Royale

If I have to pick a "most favorite" though, that would be The Living Daylights. I just really, really, love that one.

Timothy Dalton: The Living Daylights
Pierce Brosnon: Goldeneye
Daniel Craig: Casino Royale

No, I'm not going to say OHMSS for George Lazenby since that was the only one he did.

If I have to pick a favorite it would be Casino Royale. I just think everything about that movie was awesome.

Interesting. That opening sequence of Bond visiting Tracy's grave along with the final resolution of Blofeld was one of the best. It was a way of paying homage to the past while also stating that the franchise will move forward.
