Last time I checked, a jellyfish is a sea creature of Earth, not a spaceship from an alternate future. Plot hole!!!

In the bar, I heard Uhura order some buds, but I didn't see any bongs. OK, that was when the audience started booing really loudly, so I couldn't hear everything they were saying right then, but it's still a double plot hole!!!!

However, I know for a fact Uhura ordered some Cardassian sunrises, because I could hear that part. 'Scuse me, but the first appearance of the Cardassians was in TNG. Major plot hole!!!!!

OK, Pike ends up in a wheel chair, which is the way it's supposed to be, but how come he's not beeping once for yes and twice for no? Do I have to say it????? Plot!!!!! Hole!!!!!

1. Kirk is a child in the scene where he drives the car over the cliff, but THEN he's SUDDENLY in his 20's. OMG WTF??? How do you explain that??

You forgot he started off as a baby and next time we see him he's twelve (or something). Its common for children to have "growth spurts".

2. Kirk leaves Uhura and Gaila's dorm in his underwear, then SUDDENLY everyone's in uniform doing the Kobayashi Maru test. Holy fuck! Is Paul Manheim conducting temporal experiments in this movie????? Since we never saw Kirk change, it's NOT CANON. Thus he's doing the Kobayshi Maru test in his UNDERWEAR. Can you say P-L-O-T H-O-L-E?

That wouldn't have altered the plot. He would have been brought up on obscenity charges in stead of cheating.

3. Spock shows emotions when VULCANS HAVE NEVER SHOWN EMOTION EVER BEFORE in any of the episodes that count.

My point exactly. So this film doesn't count.

4. The transporter swirls instead of sparkles. JEEEZUS JEREMY ABRAMS WTFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Again, sparkling wouldn't have altered the plot any (unfortunately).

8. He should have had the mutant power to secrete red matter from his body.

I think you'll find he managed that during the bar fight scene.

If Kirk reminding Pike something about his long-ago dissertation is a plot hole, then Cupcake should be a better captain than Pike, since he *clearly* remembered Kirk from 3 years ago and didn't need any reminding. But Pike was promoted to admiral and we hear nothing else of Cupcake. PLOT HOLE!
