I have been a member of this board for more that 8 years but I have less than 18,000 posts . At this rate it will take 6-7 years before I am a Fleet Admiral.

So I need advice on how to post more than my lowly 6.05 posts a day. I know there are people here who post 5 or more times as much as I do and I was wondering how they accomplish this.

Take into account that I am was basically Trekked out years ago so I don't post in the Trek forums very often.

I've been on the board for less than a year, and I'm already a Commodore. How you ask? Simple: "Five-Word Story". Pretty much all the Trek fora have one -- yeah, I know you said you're "Trekked out", but aside from that, I don't post very often in the Main Bridge fora either. Besides, it's a chance to get creative and silly, and have some fun while you're at it.

That's my suggestion, anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually went over to the TNG forum and found a One-Word Story! I added a word hoping I didn't bugger the story up too much.

Just keep plodding along - maybe go into the lounge and play a game or two for a few months. Get in arguments with people, that helps, too.

They can get a little addictive, to be honest, once you get into them. I was hooked while I was a Fleet Captain and part of the way through my tenure and a Commodore.
