Playmobil USS Enterprise 1701 - 42 inch playset

That bridge looks rather cramped.
I would have loved something like this for the 4.5" Playmates action figures back in the day (but with more interior sets).

The Bridge reminds me of the space station playset.

It’s cute, but I’d prefer a sick bay to an engineering. Actually I’d prefer a TNG version. Also, 500 dollars.

Come to think of it, this actually reminds me of a thing that was advertised for the Galoob TNG figures way back in the late '80s. It was a toy Enterprise-D with a bridge playset in the saucer section. I understand the thing never actually got released, though.

Interesting. Reminds me of the Inner Space/Adventure Fleet line (can't remember the name) which in like with Star Wars Action Fleet, but they had an Enterprise-D with opening bridge. Smaller scale but same idea.

@Mark 2000 said the same thing to me when I showed the Playmobile Enterprise to him. You can read more about the abandoned Galoob playsets here:

It's actually odd to me this thing is so expensive, when my kids liked Playmobil they were always pretty reasonably priced compared to stuff like Lego. I guess they figured Trekkies are more willing to cough up the dough.

Probably a combination of that and licensing fees impacting the bottom line. Star Wars fees seem to be increasing with Lego too.

The Innerspace playset has the bridge and 10 forward in the saucer, with the ready room and the brig in the folding lids
Yeah they really need to brig those back. I would love for them emulate the Might Max style more, having little super-deformed Trek characters in tiny clam-shell playsets.

It's a joke. Ha ha.
