Ah yes, every Starfleet officer with a different color tricorder and other Starfleet equipment. At least the phasers were consistent in the beginning... besides that weird handle thing attached to Data's phaser and his other accessories so that he could "hold" them in his open palms. What was up with that?If they reissue any of the older figures I hope it's without the neon colors of the old accessories. Loved the 90s era of Trek figures, but that was just a bizarre choice all around.

The only thing that could get me more excited at this point is hearing DST will finally release the Enterprise C... or the Reliant. I won't hold my breath though.
.
I do remember wandering around the Playmate's offices in Torrence, CA late one night and spotting the faceplate prototype for a full-sized tricorder, not the teeny one they ended up selling.

I think as time went on they even stopped bothering to paint the phasers with the VOY characters, so the phaser was the same color as the beam.

Pretty standard feature for figures at the time. Probably a cost saving measure by casting accessories in left over cheap plastic no matter what color it isIf they reissue any of the older figures I hope it's without the neon colors of the old accessories. More likely then not and would depend on what was available to them for manufacturing at the time.Pretty standard feature for figures at the time. Probably a cost saving measure by casting accessories in left over cheap plastic no matter what color it is
Model kits are still being made so it would depend greatly on the nature of the contracts. Contracts appear to be extremely specific, so much so that action figures can be made for the same franchise in a similar size by two different companies. It isn't unusual but would depend greatly on how the contracts are structured.I wonder if they would do ship with Eaglemoss doing them too.
