I'll see if it's still there and ask him next time I stop in there. Maybe he can beam it over? And I liked it already back then
I see you already have the Defiant. Can you convince that guy to come to LA and offer his things there?![]()
Playmates had Burnam and Saru.Pike and Mariner would make the most sense…2 from each series. Interesting that there isn’t anyone from Discovery.
Considering most of the Trek prototype figures we've seen the last ten years or so never reached production, I kind of understand why, lol...Hearing on Twitter someone broke into the MR booth in Germany and stole multiple trek prototype figures![]()
So that excuses theft?Considering most of the Trek prototype figures we've seen the last ten years or so never reached production, I kind of understand why, lol...
jeeze, it was just a joke about how half these things never make it to market...So that excuses theft?
You seen the secondary market prices for these?Hearing on Twitter someone broke into the MR booth in Germany and stole multiple trek prototype figures![]()
Toy Faires are where manufacturers try and convince retailers to pick up their merchandise to sell. Theft of the prototypes is a bummer for the marketing dudes, who will now have to make do with photos, but it won’t impact production. Honestly, I was a little surprised that MR was at a show at all since they currently sell everything directly, but maybe they are trying to sell things a bit more broadly.Wonder how this will impact the release of the line, if not the actual final product?

Also, wasn’t Hiya doing similar figures? I’ve already seen preorders for their SNW Pike - concerns me that CBS/Paramount continues to over-license what are essentially niche products.
Distinct categories within the contract.Hiya is doing Kelvin Trek figures and it looks like a SNW Pike as well. Wonder how they managed to pull that off when it sounds like MR has the license for CBS Trek
That's crazy. Maybe they were just test sculpts that were essentially disposable, but important for retailers to see? Here was the official post Ben Robinson re-tweeted. Truly a shame. Wonder how this will impact the release of the line, if not the actual final product?
