Planet of the Dead monsters SPOILERS

actually NewWho has some good one off aliens, but when it comes to recurring aliens I think it is lacking in that departments, most of the best one off aliens just would not work a second time around.

the Sontarans have two books coming out, they have done quite well out of the new series.

I would love to see more of the Sycroax but it does not seem likely.

Yeah, the Weeping Angles from Blink were AWESOME creations (and one of the best ever seen in Who)... but they'd still be kinda hard to use more than once.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Krillitanes again.

I like the idea that they are adaptable creatures, so you could have a different physical appearance for them each go!

A bit late to be trying to create lasting villains, isn't it, Rusty?

I fully expect this new creation to go the way of the Slitheen and the Toclafane (which were created for "Dalek," before the agreement with the Nation estate).

The Cybermen didn't come out until the fourth season and the Master the eighth.

I was referring to Davies' reign as producer, not the series' life.

Well anybody can pick up on what he started well after he's ogne, that's how all of the reacurring monsters came back and RTD has brought back his own creations in the past.

True. Maybe Russel T. Davies already has created truly memorable villains. Maybe in the future, someone will use the Toclafane or the Krillitanes or the Slitheen again and they will be thought of as classic villains.

I think ive seen enough of the Siltheen, but I would like to see the Tocafane one more time, the before mention Sycraox as well.

aliens like the ones in Midnight, the Weeping Angels & the Vashta Nerada are all very good aliens, but hard to make them recurring ones.

Another cat people / New Earth episode would be nice to.

Weevils, Kudlak & the Bane are all due an appearnce in Doctor Who IMO, actually its kinda surprising we did not see the Weevils in The Stolen Earth.

Yeah the Krillitanes would be good.

What I'd like is a reccuring foe who wasn't a brain stuck in a metal box (Dalek/Cyberman/ Toclafane)

I still like the Sontarans...and the Judoon.

Judoon yes, but Ood...it's just hard to think of another stoy you could slot them into I guess.
