Places to visit in England (or maybe UK)

I know you have made up your mind where you are going but for future reference you have got to take a look at Newcastle and Gateshead. I have visited lots of places in the UK and IMHO for the best night out you will ever have there is no where quite like it!

For my part, York and Salisbury would be my suggestions.

So we're going to Leeds, that also gives the opportunity to visit York which is just 30 mins away.

Good choice. Also a stone's throw away from Hull and Sheffield.

For my part, York and Salisbury would be my suggestions.

And Salisbury isn't too far from Bath either if you still plan on visiting there. If in fact you do get there though, try a Box Steam Brewry Pint which is made in a micro brewry down the road from Bath. The night life in Bath is a whole lot better, was on a Stag do in Salisbury last year and it was a bit too chavtastic for my tastes.

I've done Newcastle... for a stag do. Had so much fun. And actually that's the spirit I want more... the last two places me and my friend went to (Cambridge and Bournemouth) were dull as ditchwater... so we want something where something more will be happening, but with things to do in the day (so York can fulfil that, as Leeds doesn't seem to have masses to do.)
