I like the different names, and if the alien planet Romulus is okay, why not Fenris or Vashti? Heck, ENT even suggested “Romulan” was their name for themselves.

Planet Vergessen ("We forgot the planet") took me right out of the show as I couldn't believe it and had to laugh XD

Vergessen was just one of the twin planets of that system. Just like Romulus and Remus, these planets were called Vergeben and Vergessen

For all we know, Rome got its name from these green-blooded folks.

I mean, Apollo wasn't named by the Greeks: the Greeks learned His name fron Himself. Everybody appears to have visited Earth at least once, so the Romulus/Remus myth could have come straight from the horse's mouth, too.
