Pitch terrible series ideas

CSI: Vulcan - The exciting adventures of the chief forensics team of the planet Vulcan. No crimes happen. Ever. The series mainly consists of quiet meditation, eating plomeek soup in silence, and highly logical book-keeping.

Star Trek: Heroes - Episode One: Ensign Hiro Nakamura is arrested by Temporal Investigations while Lieutenant Matt Parkman mistakenly believes he's Betazoid.

Star Trek: Morn - A radio series.

I dunno, man...this might pull in the core "Vulcans age 85-185" demographic

Star Trek: The Ensign Mayweather Adventures

Watch each week as Ensign Mayweather sits at his station for ten years without getting a promotion or saying anything at all. Co-starring Ensign Kim as the interesting character.

"GloWorm"

It's about a group of rag-tag adventurers who fly through space in a starship that looks like a horse speaking Chinese slang while avoiding the evil Alliance.

What? You say it's been done?

"You don't normally see that kind of behavior in a major alliance." ;)

On the next Starfleet Insurance and Life, Commander Klein and his team of claims adjusters inspect a Protector-class ship which got scratched up while exiting from Spacedock. Then Lieutenant M'apos'trop''h'e discovers that a claimant he had settled with may not have been quite so injured as he swore he was.

*Yawn*...puts me to sleep just to write about it! :D

Star Trek: The Adventures of Seven and Janeway

A show where Seven and Janeway live together and discuss humanity and acclamation to human life. Seven and Janeway never make out, and we get to see a lot of Seven and Chokatay's dates.

Kind of sounds like some old-school sitcom from the '70s which people look back on as being "coded" in some way. :D

BTW, the best ideas I've seen so far have been AdmiralGarak's! Especially the Star Trek: Morn radio show! (Although I think Star Trek: Heroes would be vaguely redundant in light of the numerous Trek connections it has already! BTW, stay tuned for Michael "Worf" Dorn as the new President of the United States of America!)

Star Trek: Temporal Causality Loop

A crew gets stuck in a temporal causality loop, but unlike the Enterprise crew, they never quite figure it out. Every episode is almost, but not quite exactly the same. Tune in to see what little, tiny difference occurs this time around!

Star Trek: The Great Link

In this prequel to the Dominion War, we focus on the Great Link. Fans of watching the ocean will love this show!

I think I actually might be able to get into this.

Ouch. That's low. :lol::lol:

star trek: voyager

The series follows the adventures of the Starfleet vessel USS Voyager, which becomes stranded in the Delta Quadrant 75,000 light-years from Earth while pursuing a renegade Maquis ship. Both ships' crews merge aboard Voyager to make the estimated 75-year journey home.

Treklection 2408:

Join the ever-raging presidential race between Garak Obama and VP Joe Carey; and John McKHAAAAAN and VP Harely Quinn.

He's a raging ex-writer who grabbed the wrong end of liberty's torch thanks to a crooked cop. She's an astronomical back-talker and loose cannon who crossed the wrong boss at the wrong time. Now they're detectives, and together they get their revenge by cleaning up the streets of Chicago one scumbag at a time. They are: Benny and the Rain.

Well, that's actually not such a bad idea for a series. ;) The execution is an entirely different topic though.

Star Trek: Humpback

George and Gracie (the whales from TVH) have have been given their own ship in order to find other aquatic life-forms in the galaxy, but in their crew, some are some Xindi Aquatics who are up to no good. To make matters worse, Section 31 has planted a Dolphin agent on the ship, and he keeps eating all the fish. Will the crew learn to work together?

There will be no subtitles for this show.

But that sounds like it would be an awesome series. The potential for interesting plotlines are infinite. I'm sure we could have dozens of stories dealing with Federation/Maquis tension as well as numerous episodes on dealing with loss of resources or finding a way to repair damage. Plus the Borg are in the Delta Quadrant. We could have a few (No more than one or two, obviously) episodes involving them. Why there's no way they could screw that one up!

:p

Agreed, at the very least it would make an interesting 6-8 episode mini-series.
