What's that on your shirt, exactly?
Bit of an unfortunate angle i think ;)

If I was to wager a guess, I think that would be an Australian theme? Maybe a boomerang and shrimp on a barbie?

And blab, they may not look pretty but I bet they taste pretty. All you had to say was chocolate and cream cheese.

That is a beautiful dog Ruaidhr. And her owner is quite cute too.

Squiggy
doesn't look half bad either. At least we are seeing just your face this time. (I bet Holdfast is thanking the maker for that.)

Oh and trekkerguy, you look like an old boyfriend of mine. He was adorable... so you can imagine what I think of you. (Back-off Shameless. I saw him first.)

Here's a few random pics off my laptop:

Thats an adorable dog and a gorgeous owner. :techman:

That's my Lily, my everpresent companion through some very difficult times.

Oh yeah, and :alienblush:
Aww I love it. Lily is actually one of my nicknames....;) though I dont walk around on 4 legs nor do I have a tail. :p

She was 5 months old when I got her and her original owners had named her Sara. I figured that she was still young enough to change her name and not create any issue. She stopped responding to Sara pretty quickly, actually. The old girl is a senior citizen now, gonna be 11 years old in January, and this is about the high end of life expectancy for a Dalmatian, but she's been very healthy over her life so I'm optimistic that she'll be with me for a while longer. :) When I split up with my wife this year, I would have gladly left everything else behind as long as the dog came with me--Lily was a stabilizing factor for me when everything else was crumbling. Love that dog.

AWWW that story just made my eyes all watery!

What number is that one? ;)

Honestly, for the first few years it felt like all 101 packed into one spotted frame. Dalmatians have an unbelievable amount of energy and stamina. For a few years I had to take her for an hour-long walk every night before bed just so she would sleep through the night. She really didn't start to calm down until she turned 5.

Speaking of going to bed... 'Night all!

Yeah, I think that, at the time, my future forty-year old self must have been whispering in my ear, "enjoy it while you can!" ;)

My friend finally gave me our Thanksgiving pictures! I had 4 of my friends over to my place -- we cooked up a storm! Then happily we sat on the rug around the coffee table and ate our lovely meal.

Me stirring the gravy. No make up. Cooking all day. Looking a bit harried:

^Fantastic. I'm a pretty good cook, if I do say so myself. It was my first time making a turkey though; you don't know how relieved I was when we cut into it and it was cooked all the way through!

Awww. All grown up now! :D

They'll expect you to cook every year now.... ;)

It's tradition. :p

^I don't mind. I love cooking and I love feeding people. Plus, being the only one who knew her way around a Thanksgiving kitchen, I got to delegate all the tedious tasks, like peeling and paring apples, chopping onions, ect, to everyone else. :D

Is "harried" a word they're using to mean "absolutely beautiful" these days?
Awww...but seriously -- greasy hair, shiny face, bleary eyes, green produce rubber band on my wrist...!
