Picture the Novelverse - Characters, Ships and More !

At long last I found it!! I saved a copy onto my old phone. I can't find the original site, but the artist is Jason Lee. Here is the Federation resource exploratory vessel Jefferson Randolph Smith, from the beginning of J. M. Ford's How Much for Just the Planet?

Apparently they will only do new covers for two of the Fall novels. My guess ist that the second one will be Peacable Kingdoms, as those two are very similar, and they apparently tried to make this one fit with the other three US covers.

You are absolutely right. :techman:

I love the German covers, especially with such goodies like featuring unseen ships (the recent TTN and upcoming VOY covers) and characters. Kudos to Martin Frei.

:drool::drool::drool:

Beautiful! And so thematically striking; the Enterprise and a flotilla of Starfleet support craft with Cardassia hanging pointedly in the background, as though wavering or uncertain of its place, and with the ships suggesting a relief convoy yet also potentially menacing, bearing down on Cardassia... yet the ships are also poised as though to leave, with Cardassia's possibly being left there forlorn...

This is masterful. This is the cover the book deserves.

As masterful as your interpretation. I look at the cover and see a collage of enticing space and cool starships but you see meaning.

The green nebula in the lower left could've been a tad bit pinker or reddish to reflect the title, Imho.

That runabout's registry, NCC-72458. Has it ever been used before?

Speaking of registries, I wish that Cross Cult would alter the cover of A Ceremony of Losses for their release to change the registry of the runabout on the cover. NCC-73024 was the registry of the Shenandoah, which Nog and Jake lost in "The Valiant" and had to have been destroyed.

I Googled it. It hasn't been used canonically, but it was used for the Orinoco in the Hearts and Minds comic from Malibu (which makes more sense than the 72905 number Memory Beta lists for that one, since it's close to the Rio Grande and Ganges numbers). It's also been used for various fan-created runabouts.
