My daughter surprised me with the last thing she made in her HS pottery class

She gets a gold star for this one :)
HSchools still have those type classes? Not the ones in our district. We do have a couple of HS's that have auto mechanic classes though.
When I was growing up the year before I was eligible they got rid of Home Economics and Wood Shop. Insurance we were told.

Cool that she made that for you...whose Marlboro's? ;)

Also, I'm going to have to get a pic of my beagle uploaded to show him off it seems. It's been years since I did so.

It was actually her favorite class (and favorite teacher) of the 12th grade. She brought home many lovely pieces including a smaller version of the BSG bowl for her sister. She knew how much I loved it so she hastily got one more in before the last day. She considers it not up to quality standards due to time issues but she knows I totally love it ;)

sorry, being a dumbass, what are they?
They look like geckos to me - possibly this kind.
Correct on the geckos, specifically leopard geckos from Asia. They're a bit more colorful than some of the African ones. They still have fat tails, though. :) They're surprisingly friendly and have a lot of personality (you'd never mix up the two of them, as they behave completely differently).

I still want a dog, though.

I gotta be honest.... I found that last part strangely hilarious, mainly because I'm at the same point. I really want a dog, but I'm someplace where I can't have one so I'm getting ready to settle for a reptile instead.

I don't have a clue which one she is either. I'm still learning a few of the names, anyways.

What? She graduated High School!! Have I been posting here that long?!!
Actually this time passage thing was noted by me and some others when we all were going, "Wait Seeker's child is how old now?"

Here is a picture of me and my brother dressed up as Army men for Halloween. Not sure of the year, but I'm think 1975

Here is a picture of me and my brother in England at the Tower of London with a Beefeater and my cousin. This is our first visit, staying with family in 1980.

I can't say our clothing was any better. However I'm digging the jeans jacket I am wearing, my brothers white one not so much.

^Sweet trousers!

Here is a picture of our cat Acer. He just went to the salon to be pampered.
