At the bottom of one of my receipts from tonight...

My brother fell at work today and fractured his knee cap. He is heading to see the orthopedist as we speak. Looks like he will need to have surgery. My wife is away currently, don't know when I will get out to see him. He lives in New Jersey and I'm on Long Island.

^Ugh! That second picture just looks awful! I hope that he gets fixed up quickly!

You know, I'll never get tired of Xray images, though -- I'll never stop thinking just how cool they are!

I made mine into an animation! :D

Haha, I hope the tip reflected the epicness of the beard.

There was actually a night a couple months ago where a guy gave me a $10 tip just because of my beard. He tipped me for his drinks, and then he gave me an additional $10 bill and said, "This is for your awesome beard."

Seeker, I love all of your pictures of you and your daughter. Your family is absolutely precious.

From last Wednesday:

My vertigo's way too bad to even attempt rock climbing. Kudos to anybody who can pull it off!

Ouch.

I had X-rays this week too, but they didn't give me copies. :( (Turned out nothing was broken - I just set off gout attacks in both feet when I slipped on some ice a couple of weeks ago. They prescribed me some wonderful anti-inflammatories - I was able to go to my bowling league last night, and not only did I have no pain, I spared a 4-7-9 split and later, I spared a 3-6-7-10 split.)

Just got home from seeing Tim Minchin at 54 Below -- It was an awesome show! Really tiny, personal, cabaret venue (100-150-ish people), good wine, got to meet him and chat a bit before the show, and he was lovely, and I couldn't have asked for a better seat:

Moi, getting ready to enjoy:
