PICTURE POST II!

^Nice ankle!
^Lots of things (friends & family mostly) but I didn't like any of the side effects to the medicine the professionals wanted me to take so I wasn't medicated and that might have had some influence on my chosen look at some point.
I'm glad you're doing better. I didn't realize the picture was representative of a difficult or negative time in your life, but I really do like it. It's quirky and fun. I know how you feel about medications. They are great for some people but definitely not the right course for everyone. For me they were the right choice for awhile, but not any more. I'm glad you're doing better!

Had some professional pictures done today. Here's one:

Aren't my lungs pretty?
That's an eerie amount of detail on your spine there! Also, the scale on the side, is that the actual length from one point to the other on your body then? In that case, I knew you where a bit shorter then I am, but not by that much. Scale is a hard thing to estimate some times.
The level of detail, I suspect, is due to it being a CT rather than an xray. They were looking for a pulmonary embolism, which, fortunately, they did not find! As for the scale, I had to convert it to inches to check, but it looks like that's the actual length.

Thanks! -it was a long time ago (well, a couple of years or three) and I was 'on the up-turn' at the time of the picture and actually only made it to show in some earlier iteration of this thread iirc :rommie:
Thanks!

Quick swing by the scrap yard for some parts. What ya' think, safe to get under and pull the tank and spindles off of?

I am really pleased for you that you had friends and family there. Great! And hey, there are folks walking around in get up that makes yours look positively small-time tame, and no one is trying to medicate those... haha! :-D Camden High Street, London, on the weekend... enough said, especially the hardcore punks! Love it! :rommie:

Ah, that would explain it. I've only ever gotten xrays and ultrasound done.
Also, i was convinced for some reason that distance on me was a lot longer for some reason. And yes, while it is, it's not as much longer as I thought it was. It's about 45 centimeters on me, so that's slightly under 18 inches. I do have a really tall torso though.

Having trouble figuring this out. What direction are we seeing it from?
I was laying face down. It's my L5-S1 (last Lumbar, first Sacral vertebra). The screws and rods are holding me together. New bone has also grown in now - the image is from 4 yrs ago. :)

We took a few pictures for our Christmas card today. I like the look on her face in this one.

Great pictures Seeker, she looks absouloutly lovely. I agree, the color contrast really enhance the picture.

On a side note, I picked up a bottle of the Seeker Malbec wine, we really enjoyed it.
