Christmas Decorations in a mall I was just in but to my imagination it looked like a giant eyebrow

Generally, it's the same people who are responsible for the suffering and inconvenience of the masses -- rich, powerful assholes who act like toddlers, who care only about making money and showing off. Decency and empathy are foreign concepts to these people. They wave bibles around but can't demonstrate an ounce of humility, charity, or kindness. They swear undying allegiance to the loudest, the richest, the strongest and are completely blind to their own hypocrisy.
The idea that government should exist to help the weakest, that it should make society function smoothly and serve all people equally seems to have been completely forgotten by some.
