Unfortunately, no. But there is less homoeroticism.
BOSTON STRONG
As the city of Boston came to initial grips with the horrific Marathon Bombings, the Red Sox embarked upon a road series in Cleveland from April 16 to 18, 2013. Playing with heavy hearts some 600 miles west of their grieving but unbowed home city, Red Sox players, coaches and clubhouse staff stood in solemn solidarity with fellow Bostonians by hanging this tribute jersey in the team's dugout during that series. Bearing our city's "617" area code, this jersey was conceptualized by Jonny Gomes and Jarrod Saltalamacchia, and then produced by Home Clubhouse Manager Tom McLaughlin. The jersey has since hung in the team's dugout during home and away games, a vivid reminder of our collective "Boston Strong" mentality and the fighting spirit that has brought us together in the wake of unspeakable tragedy.
