PICTURE POST II!

I took my daughter to Central Park yesterday. She had a great time.

Of course she had to bring her binoculars with her.

Cute! Oh, to be the age when a day at the park, and some Goldfish crackers, were all one needed for a glorious day. :)

I house sat for my sister this week. She has an old barn and other buildings on her property (it used to be a farm). I've never taken any photos of them.

She and her husband wanted to use the barn, but it was falling apart and couldn't be salvaged. It used to house horses, now it's a buzzard nursery. :p

There are smaller barns scattered throughout the property.

They can't be used for anything, but they sure make the property interesting!

Yesterday was the last day of Kindergarten for Ian, they do a parade for all the students. Here is Ian walking out and striking a pose.

^ Nice looking family you have there, Tom. It's hard for me to remember those proud moments these days, considering my youngest is now 25!

Enjoy!

^Nice! I like the little squares amidst the subway tiles.

Saga,
those photos are freaking AMAZING, especially that last one.

The squares in the tiles are where the outlets will be.

We're pretty excited about the counters (what an adult thought). The problem with getting a granite like that is that it can vary wildly from one cut to the next. We got lucky.

Great choice of tile design, Squiggy. That pattern and color just look better than most others.

My wife sent me this about an hour ago. She took my daughter to the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre in Central Park for a show.

The wife and I went on an ADULTS ONLY trip to Walt Disney World last week! In addition to being able to relax and not get stressed with having to deal with our kids (who we love, really!), we also went on the Keys to the Kingdom tour, which is a backstage tour of some parts of the Magic Kingdom. Very cool, and we got to see some of the utilidors!

My wife's favorite, Baymax!

My favorite picture, even if it is a selfie!

And a really cool picture of Spaceship Earth as some evening storm clouds were rolling in.

Baymax! How fun!

I'm very jealous. I haven't been to Disney World in decades. Looks like you had a good time.

An excellent photo that strongly reminds me of my grand-daughter, Lily. (She's 6)

I had absolutely no idea that Disney World did adult-only tours. Now that is news worth sharing. Loudly.

A friend of ours asked me to perform her wedding last weekend in beautiful (and HOT) Las Vegas.

Perhaps I should clarify. We decided to go by ourselves, without the kids (i.e. adults only). This wasn't a WDW thing. HOWEVER, we also went on the "Keys to the Kingdom" tour, which is an informational tour of some of the Magic Kingdom, including some backstage areas like the utilidors. To go on that tour, you have to be at least 16. There are a few other guided tours like that.
