PICTURE POST II!

Fantastic photos. I love especially love the one of the woman in the red coat.

Wall-E! Eeeeeeeeeee! :D

I was at a party last night, and the table runner was a big sheet of paper for writing/drawing. So my friend hands me a marker and says, "Draw a picture of me riding Falcor."

And then I did...

Great stuff as always AM. I was perusing your Flickr stream the other day and you had some great stuff in there.

I've got a few more from my stroll through Herastrau Park In Bucharest back in 2008.

I like this on one because you can see my shadow as I was taking the shot.

Thanks!

My daughter had to get her picture taken for her passport renewal and she took the instructions of not to smile very seriously.

Hee, my kids did the same when they were little. They all looked as if they ate nails for breakfast.

Passport photos should have more people - both kids and adults - giving the camera The Rock's "People's Eyebrow." That way certain countries will know you mean business from the moment you step onto their territory.

I can sort of do that with my left eyebrow, and wish I had on my most recent passport photo. The Dutch passport photos are black and white and all hair has to be off your face, so I had to scrape my fringe/bangs back. It's easily the worst passport photo I've ever had. I look 70 and as if I'd been sleeping rough the night before. I find the fact that the last time I flew back into Britain the passport facial recognition system worked disturbing seeing how awful the photo is.

These days it seems as if more than 90% of passport, photo ID and driver's license photographs make the owner look like an insomniac who just got back from a major bank robbery. No matter how I try to have great photos they're at best just satisfactory and probably always will be not much more than ”meh.”

Well, that IS the way most people look after getting off of a flight, so it's probably how the pictures should be.

We were recently at DisneyWorld and the Selfie Sticks were everywhere. I thought they were cool, made it real easy for families to get pictures all together in front of things.
