Sandtrooper: "Look, if you want to fit in and get respect you need to get some dirt and mud on your armor, intimidate the locals and learn how to look completely goofy and ineffectual even when you're carrying multiple weapons.

And seriously, hit your head as often as possible on overhanging doors. The ladies love that stuff."

"Sir, I don't understand. How are we supposed to interrogate prisoners if we can't even shoot straight?"

(47-minute pause.)

"Shut up, newbie. Now go clean your weapon. And remember, not only are we so stupid that we fall for Jedi mind tricks, but we also forgot that these full-face helmets won't even let us eat."

Not a picture but we've been having fun with the slow motion feature on our new iPhone's so I thought I would post this here.

EDIT: Does anyone know how to set the link to play only one video and not automatically play the next video on my list? I just wanted to post the one video, not my whole playlist.

Ian loves Lego's, me not so much. He has been using Duplos since he could hold blocks. He loves Duplos but he's been asking for regular Lego. Well Lego just came out with an intermediary version called Lego Junior. It's simplified Lego's with some stuff prebuilt and instructions made for 4 to 6 year old.

My son is reaching 2 yo, he has been using simple Duplo for a while, but I am so looking forward to see my house invaded by some more complex stuff. I'm sensing a Duplo Batman set coming this Christmas. For the kid, obviously. :shifty:

It's always a good idea for parents to safety test any new toys. You should get one early for just such testing. Perhaps the Batcave Adventure Kit would be a good one to test?

I'm pretty sure there was an intermediate version of LEGO blocks 30 years ago. That's great. I was a LEGO nut.

Btw I like how your fireplace has a space for firewood

Is it bad that I'm more interested in what kind of beer you're drinking than I am in anything else going on in that picture? :p

You are probably right, I was never a fan of Lego so I never had them growing up. When we got this at the Lego store, the CSR told us that the whole Lego Junior system was brand new.

Yeah, we like being able to store firewood inside. It really make it easier when you decide to have a fire, to have the wood sitting there waiting.
