Yep - Texas is big enough to be wildly variable - desert and scrub land out west, mountains in Big Bend and up in the Panhandle, hills in the middle, all the way to swampland in the southeast...
But it's water that uses plants to move themselves from the ground up to the sky where they beat down the plants over and over until they are washed away.
